LOCATION 01

Dhankaur, Greater Noida — Integrated Hydroponics & Protected Cultivation Facility

Our Dhankaur facility in Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh is one of INHYDRO's primary field-level infrastructure hubs. The site brings multiple cultivation technologies together within the same operational ecosystem, letting us compare systems, crops, growing methods and farm-management practices under practical conditions.

FIELD-LEVEL INFRASTRUCTURE

Commercial-Scale Systems Under Real Operating Conditions

Dhankaur brings multiple cultivation technologies together within one operational ecosystem, creating a practical platform for comparing crops, growing systems, irrigation, fertigation and farm-management practices.

NFT hydroponics farm at Dhankaur
NFT HYDROPONICS

NFT Hydroponics Farms — 2 × 2,000 sqm (Total 4,000 sqm)

These two units are a commercial-scale proving ground for NFT hydroponics, not a pilot plot. Running them in parallel lets us benchmark yield, nutrient efficiency and system design against each other, not just against a single control. The infrastructure supports:

  • Leafy vegetable production
  • Crop trials and NFT system optimisation
  • Nutrient-management research
  • Irrigation and fertigation trials
  • Commercial production validation
  • Training and demonstrations
High-tech nursery at Dhankaur
HIGH-TECH NURSERY

High-Tech Nursery Infrastructure — 2 × 600 sqm (Total 1,200 sqm)

Every crop that moves into our commercial systems starts here. INHYDRO's two high-tech nursery units combine multiple propagation and establishment methods, including growing beds, NFT systems, Dutch Bucket systems, dedicated nursery production areas, and crop-establishment trials.

Testing establishment methods at nursery stage — before crops move into commercial production — reduces risk and improves consistency once they reach the farm.

Naturally Ventilated Polyhouse Dutch Bucket hydroponics
PROTECTED CULTIVATION

Naturally Ventilated Polyhouse — Dutch Bucket Hydroponics for Vine Crops — 2 × 3,000 sqm (Total 6,000 sqm)

Vine crops need height, ventilation and precise root-zone control. Two Naturally Ventilated Polyhouse (NVPH) units at Dhankaur pair that structural design with Dutch Bucket hydroponics, built for tomato, cucumber, capsicum and other high-value vine crops. The infrastructure supports:

  • Crop trials
  • Irrigation and fertigation research
  • Crop-support system evaluation
  • Protected cultivation practices

Together, NVPH structure and Dutch Bucket cultivation give us a practical platform for evaluating soilless vine-crop production under protected conditions, at commercial scale.

Shade-net house with drip irrigation at Dhankaur
SHADE-NET CULTIVATION

Shade-Net Houses with Drip Irrigation — 2 × 3,000 sqm (Total 6,000 sqm)

Not every crop needs a fully enclosed greenhouse. Two shade-net units at Dhankaur, fitted with drip irrigation, let us study protected cultivation in a lower-cost structure — closer to what many commercial growers actually build. They support:

  • Protected crop production
  • Crop trials
  • Irrigation management and drip-fertigation trials
  • Agronomy research and comparative cultivation studies

This infrastructure lets INHYDRO evaluate crop performance under protected cultivation without relying exclusively on greenhouse environments.

Shade-net grow-bag cultivation at Dhankaur
GROW-BAG CULTIVATION

Shade-Net Grow-Bag Infrastructure — 2 × 1,500 sqm (Total 3,000 sqm)

Two more shade-net houses at Dhankaur run grow-bag cultivation instead of buckets — a substrate-based alternative that suits different crops and budgets. These units let us evaluate:

  • Soilless substrate cultivation and grow-bag crop production
  • Drip irrigation and fertigation
  • Root-zone management and substrate performance
  • High-value crop cultivation

This gives INHYDRO a practical platform to compare grow-bag, Dutch Bucket and other soilless production systems side by side.

Bilaspur, Gautam Budh Nagar — 8-Acre Shade-Net Farming Infrastructure

Dhankaur proves a technology works. Bilaspur proves it works at scale. INHYDRO's Bilaspur facility, in Gautam Budh Nagar, covers approximately 8 acres of shade-net cultivation across 6 units, all fitted with drip irrigation.

This larger, multi-unit site provides an expanded environment for commercial crop production, irrigation management, drip fertigation, crop trials, protected cultivation, agronomy validation and farm-management practices.

The scale of this infrastructure lets INHYDRO work with cultivation practices beyond small demonstration farms and evaluate technologies under real, larger-scale operational conditions.

LOCATION 03

Sector 59, Noida — INHYDRO Research & Technology Facility

INHYDRO's facility at Sector 59, Noida functions as a research, development, training and technology-validation environment, including rooftop, indoor and specialised controlled-environment farming infrastructure.

Rooftop hydroponics facility at Sector 59 Noida
ROOFTOP HYDROPONICS

Rooftop Hydroponics Facilities

2,000 sq ft rooftop hydroponics unit — a fully equipped urban farming setup combining Dutch Bucket systems, NFT systems and Vertical Wall Garden systems, used for urban farming research, rooftop agriculture, system demonstrations and technology validation.

1,000 sq ft rooftop hydroponics unit — a second rooftop facility providing additional space for hydroponic trials, demonstrations and system development.

Together, the two rooftop facilities show what hydroponics can do in space-constrained urban environments — relevant for terrace farms, commercial rooftops and institutional installations alike.

Indoor vertical NFT farming facility
INDOOR VERTICAL FARMING

Indoor Vertical Farming Facilities — Climate-Controlled Vertical NFT Systems

INHYDRO operates three indoor cultivation facilities at its Sector 59 research facility. Two run vertical NFT systems, each engineered for approximately 9,000 plants, combining:

  • Vertical NFT systems
  • Climate control and LED grow lights
  • Controlled irrigation and nutrient management
  • Environmental monitoring and indoor crop production infrastructure

These facilities give us a controlled environment for studying indoor vertical farming, crop performance, lighting, climate management and nutrient optimisation — the same variables that determine whether a commercial indoor farm succeeds.

Controlled environment Dutch Bucket facility
CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT

Controlled-Environment Dutch Bucket Facility — 500 sq ft

One specialised indoor facility of approximately 500 sq ft incorporates a vertical Dutch Bucket system within a controlled cold-room environment, used for specialised crop and technology trials where environmental conditions need to be more tightly controlled — including vertical Dutch Bucket cultivation, controlled-environment production, crop-specific climate requirements, root-zone management, and experimental cultivation systems.

Specialised controlled environment facility
SPECIALISED RESEARCH

Specialised Controlled-Environment Facility — 500 sq ft

INHYDRO also operates another approximately 500 sq ft controlled-environment facility designed for specialised cultivation research, including saffron cultivation research, mushroom cultivation, controlled-environment trials, environmental parameter studies and new cultivation technology validation.

This facility supports INHYDRO's ongoing work in alternative and emerging controlled-environment cultivation technologies.
