A Unique Internship Model with hands-on learning and Job-Opportunity for each graduating candidates, it came to the InHydro notice that though there are enthusiastic budding Agripreneurs willing to invest time and money yet they lack mentoring platforms to sharpen/refine their ideas & provide necessary connectivity & guidance on various aspects of agribusiness. This gap was acting as a big gap for people with business ideas to venture any further into the Agri-ecosystem.
The program works to enable Agripreneurs to move from idea to Implementation Stage while developing a sound understanding of the business, the skills, challenges, and opportunities.
Objectives of the program
- To create and nurture a pipeline of Agripreneurs for incubators
- To assist people with Business idea in the Agri-Startup Ecosystem
- To nurture potential Agripreneurs by providing mentoring cum internship with real-time work experience to provide them practical, technical and business insights
- To guide interested people in Idea Generation
- To provide them with the foundational support in their entrepreneurial journey
- To make pursuing entrepreneurship related to innovative ideas an attractive career option among other available career choices.
Key Role and Responsibilities during Internship
- To interpret technical data used to perform their tasks.
- To install the different components of a hydroponics system
- To supervise and control the growth of the plants grown using hydroponic techniques.
- Oversee and maintenance of hydroponic equipment and greenhouse, ordering of necessary equipment and seeds, and maintain accurate records and propagation journals.
- To prepare nutritional and balanced water-soluble solutions that contain all the essential chemical elements for plant development, including nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, etc.
- To carry out research tests on hydroponic crops in greenhouses and open spaces
- Develop a system and time schedule for planting vegetables, herbs, and other plants.
- To verify that plants’ air to water ratio is balanced, with the aim of avoiding aeration problems and excess oxygenation.
- To oversee the crops to obtain vegetables by applying hydroponic techniques with the required quality and in compliance with all established health and safety regulations.

Guided by experienced mentors and agriprenures, they will be able to understand business concepts/nuances, strategy and practical insights of specific industries or markets, challenges and strategies to resolve them.
Six Months On-site real-time Internship Program

InHydro Summer/Winter Internship program is aimed at providing an opportunity for college/University students to work on their innovative ideas in Agribusiness by imparting one months mentoring cum hands on internship with other startups ideas in Agriculture and allied sectors. Guided by experienced mentors and agriprenures, they will be able to understand business concepts/nuances, strategy and practical insights of specific industries or markets,

Eligibility Criteria
- The applicants are expected to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations full time
- The applicant should have an initial business plan/ proposal for the idea they intend to pursue.
- The applicant should propose one innovative idea based on technology, service, business platforms etc. for increasing efficiency in agriculture and allied sector. Requirements

Selection Process of Interns for Agripreneurship Orientation
- All applicants for this program will apply as per the prescribed format (Application Form)
- InHydro shall announce the program and call for applications from the intended participants via its website.
- The selection of Agripreneurs that have an innovative idea based on technology, service, business platforms etc. and interest in pursuing their entrepreneurial aspirations full time, shall be done by the InHydro selection committee.
Preferred Skills
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft office software
- Proficiency in listening, speaking, and reading English/Hindi language and can read and write research articles based on hydroponics knowledge.
- Enthusiastic agriculturist having knowledge to raise plant under hydroponics technology and ability to understand plant pest and diseases problem for organic solution.
- Freshers/Experienced with B.Tech/B.Sc/M.Sc in Agriculture/Horticulture.
- Candidates in their final year of study can also apply.
